My name is José Miguel Fernandes, and I am a design professional with a strong interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving.

 

Throughout my career, I have been motivated by complex challenges that require clear, practical, and methodical solutions while continuously learning and adapting to new environments.

 

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Product Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, complemented by a postgraduate qualification in Design Thinking and Prototyping at IADE and a Master's in Design and Innovation from IED Madrid. These experiences strengthened my analytical thinking, research skills, creativity, and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.

 

Professionally, I have worked in product design, 3D modelling, UX research, content moderation, client services, and most recently as a Draftsman / Project Designer using SolidWorks. These roles enabled me to develop strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills while working in dynamic and demanding environments.

Recently, I successfully completed a Cabin Crew course, where I received training in aviation safety, emergency procedures, customer service, and teamwork. This experience reinforced my commitment to passenger safety, service excellence, and effective collaboration
